Love
Love is a song from the film Robin Hood. It was written by Floyd Huddleston and George Bruns and sung by Huddleston's wife, Nancy Adams, as Maid Marian.
The song was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 46th Academy Awards, but lost to "The Way We Were" from the film of the same name.
It later appeared in the soundtrack for the 2009 film Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Lyrics[edit | edit source]
<poem> Love It seems like only yesterday You were just a child at play Now you're all grown up inside of me Oh, how fast those moments flee
Once we watched a lazy world go by Now the days seem to fly Life is brief, but when it's gone Love goes on and on
Love will live Love will last Love goes on And on and on
Once we watched a lazy world go by Now the days seem to fly Life is brief, but when it's gone Love goes on and on </poem>
