About Prince John[edit | edit source]
Prince John is a lion and the brother of King Richard. While Richard is away on a crusade, John rules the country in his stead. He is very greedy and raises the taxes on the poor. When Robin Hood and his Merry Men, opposed to the high taxes, steal his money and give it to the poor, he declares them outlaws.
His loyal servant, the snake Sir Hiss, is the closest thing he has to a friend.
