Summary[edit | edit source]
Maid Marian wishes Robin Hood would come see her, but she knows he'd be arrested if he was seen in the castle. Lady Kluck assures her he'll find a way. Robin writes her a letter and has Skippy deliver it. The young rabbit sneaks into the castle and leaves it on her windowsill, but a guard sees him and brings the letter to Prince John. The Sheriff of Nottingham read that it says to meet him at the fair tomorrow. Sir Hiss warns it might be a trick. The prince invites the ladies to join him at the fair, but Lady Kluck doesn't trust him. She eavesdrops and hears him planning to catch Robin, so she asks Skippy to tell Robin. He runs to Sherwood Forest to warn him, but Little John hatches a plan. They rig a net in the woods, and when the royal coach rolls through, they trap it and relieve it of its gold, giving it to the poor.
